Weighbridge Operative

The Position

Applications are invited for a Weighbridge Operative based at our Doncaster Site. This is a full-time permanent position working 12-hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (days and nights).

As a Weighbridge Operative, your duties and responsibilities will vary on the Company’s requirements, but will include:

• Weighing and recording all vehicles on and off site.
• Keeping accurate records and completing relevant paperwork.
• Communicating with all departments on site.
• Covering for sickness & holidays.
• Working Bank holidays including Christmas & New Year.
• Dealing with visitors outside receptions normal operating hours.
• Log in contractors and visitors in line with the Company Procedures.
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the Management Team.

Requirements

• Must be able to prioritise the workload.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Have a good telephone manner.
• Be flexible with working hours.
• Be able to work in a small team, and also on your own.
