The Recruitment Co are looking for a Welder to join a growing fabrication company in Barnsley, within this role you will be reading from technical drawings to create metal fabrications. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career with a company that has demonstrated continued growth.
What you can expect in this role:

  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment.
  • Perform MIG and ARC welding.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment.
  • Keep your work area clean and follow safety rules.
  • Work with team members to complete projects on time.


What we need from you:

  • At least 3 years of welding experience.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding (desirable)
  • Skilled in MIG and ARC welding.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition for lifting materials and standing for long periods.
  • Knowledge of welding safety practices.


What we can offer you:

  • An hourly rate of £13 - £15 an hour (depending on experience)
  • A permanent role, with 37.5 hours a week, with overtime available
  • 28 days holiday
