Steel Erector/Welder

First Achieve's Engineering Division are seeking a Welder/Fabricator for their client who are a wholesale business supplying fencing, building, timber materials based in St Albans.

You will be an experienced Welder/Fabricator working within their Steel department. This role requires a high level of precision and attention to detail, ensuring all work meets the required specifications and standards.

The Role:

• MIG/TIG, Stick Welding.
• Erecting steel structures on site.
• Working from Engineering Drawings.
• Utilising hand tools, fixtures, jigs and clamps for small welding jobs.
• Cleaning and preparing all metal / steel.
• Ability to work unsupervised and to actively mentor trainees.

Successful Candidate:

• MIG, TIG & Arc/Stick Welding experience.
• Experience in Steel Erection, cutting, grinding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Holds Qualifications within Welding/Fabrication (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
