Welder & Fabricator

Location: Biggleswade, Bedfordshire

Salary: £14 - £15 per hour (38 hrs, £27,664 - £29,640)

Hours: Full time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm (Friday 3.30pm finish)

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Biggleswade, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder & Fabricator to join their growing team. Specialising in high-quality manufacturing projects, this company offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricating sheet metal to a high standard.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings (essential).
  • Operating equipment such as grinding, drilling, punch machines, and overhead cranes.
  • Maintaining high organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fabricating sheet metal.
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with workshop tools and equipment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets.
