Welding Inspector

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Welding Inspector for a manufacturing business on one of their manufacturing sites in Rotherham. The company are a market-leader in the manufacture & packaging of bespoke acoustic products and supply Worldwide. 

Reporting into the Quality Manager, this role will complete visual inspection of fabrications at various stages of manufacturing and finished product.

Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Dimensional inspections
• Conduct MPI as required
• Generate inspection reports
• Identify and record non-conforming out puts and oversee resolutions as required
• Ensure the inspection test plan is followed
• Liaise with customer on site welding inspectors

Essential requirements:

• CSWIP 3.1 or equivalent
• PCN level 2 MPI
• Familiar and fully conversant with BS EN 1090
• Ability to use Microsoft office.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Quality driven standard setter
• Experience of Nuclear Industry requirement Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
