Position: Welfare Service Engineer

Location: Bristol

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus’

Company Van 

Monday – Friday

Holidays – 25 Days + Bank

The Role:

  • Service and maintain portable chemical toilets, ADA approved wheelchair access units, and mobile eco welfare units
  • Carry out routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs as needed to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Travel between regional depots and customer sites to inspect, service, and repair equipment.
  • Prioritise service tasks based on urgency and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documenting inspections, repairs, and parts replacements.
  • Interact with customers professionally, addressing requests and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations during all service activities.
  • Participate in training programs and provide feedback for process improvement.
  • Stay updated on welfare equipment technology and industry trends to enhance service quality.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in a fitter role with relevant mechanical qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably, a comprehensive understanding of welfare units.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • A customer-centric approach to workload management and a dedication to collaborative teamwork.
  • Valid UK driving license is necessary.
