Job Title: Wellness Centre Coordinator

Location: West Kent

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Pattern: Full Time (term time + 2 weeks)

Annual salary: £24,000 - £28,000

Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

As a Wellness Centre Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and smooth operation of the Wellness Centre. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating the arrival of furniture and equipment for the Wellness Centre's setup
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Centre
  • Identifying and reporting any maintenance issues to the Facilities Manager
  • Conducting weekly Health & Safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Supervising the clearing up and cleaning of the Wellness Centre at the end of term
  • Ordering meals and catering for resident students, taking into account their individual nutritional needs
  • Providing effective support to students in the Wellness Centre and assisting with their return to their Houses or parents
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of cleaning materials, medical items, and other domestic materials
  • Creating Wellbeing Packs for distribution to tutors, teachers, staff, and parents. An opportunity to be creative and forward thinking with presentation
  • Supporting the development of a Visitor Pack for Safeguarding and Wellbeing
  • Creating sensory boxes for key venues in the School
  • Providing support for parent meetings and events
  • Providing Mental Health First Aid to students who visit the Wellness Centre - full training will be given
  • Following health and safety regulations and school policies
