We are looking for a Wheelie Bin Operative to join us on site in Fawley, Southampton.

The role


Main purpose of job:


To be responsible for offloading, processing, marshalling and washing of wheelie bins as part of a 24/7 shift team.

Duties/Responsibilities:


* To report all near misses/incidents and accidents without exception.
* To maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
* To perform all duties in accordance with documented work requirements/procedures, legislation and the company's policies and objectives, maintaining and improving performance in the areas of Safety, Quality and Environment.
* Undertake daily checks on the system as specified on the daily jobs register.
* To be responsible for ensuring that appropriate repair and maintenance requirements are identified and reported.

The person

* Happy to work outside in all weather conditions
* Flexible approach to work.
* Numerate and literate.
* Be adaptable and resourceful.
* Previous experience in heavy industry.
* FLT licence (training can be given).
