Freightserve recruitment are looking for a White Glove Delivery Driver for a Niche sector Freight company based in the Heathrow area.

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-orientated delivery driver to deliver high-end & time sensitive goods to clients, to venues in and around London and across the UK.

The knowledge, skills and experience required for this role are:-

Essential

  • Hold a full UK driving licence, and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work various hours.
  • Be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items as needed during deliveries.
  • Have a good knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Able to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadline.
  • Have sound IT knowledge and ability to use a smart phone (provided).
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Be a team player as well as work well alongside members of staff across all departments.
  • Smart/professional appearance.

Due to the nature of the role, there are a number of compulsory checks that must be carried out:

  1. criminal record check - basic disclosure, carried out by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
  2. A full 5 year reference history, with any gaps in employment scrutinised and accounted for.
  3. A driving licence check.

The role is working Monday - Friday, working 8 hour shifts on a flexible 40 hour week (basic hours being 09:00-18:00, with optional overtime available).
