Wholesale Assistant

A global luxury retailer is looking for a wholesale assistant to join its high performing team, based in London. The company has been growing its product assortment and presence across the global retail market, going from strength to strength and amassing a huge customer following. The company is renowned for producing product that is both classic and elegant.

The role of wholesale assistant will primarily focus on the European markets. You will provide support to existing wholesale accounts as well as working with the senior team to develop the relationship with new wholesale partners. You will be the primary contact for any operational requests with existing partners, manage the order deadline calendar, ensuring timely receipt of all items and will monitor weekly sales reports by analysing activity to maximize sales and restocking opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in the luxury fashion sector, although this is not essential. They are open to the background and role that you have previously worked in, what’s important is that you are passionate about developing a career in wholesale. It is key that you have extensive knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and be proficient with using pivot tables and v-look up functions. You’ll be an outgoing person who is easily able to build relationships with people. You will have a positive and proactive attitude and always be on the look out to find ways of improving working practices.

In return, the company is offering a salary of £30,000 with a discretionary company bonus. There is up to 50% discount across all products, perfect for someone who is in love with the product. You will have private medical cover and life assurance. There is a hybrid working model in place although, at times, due to the needs of the business, additional flexibility will be required.
