Position: Windows Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Near Winchester (Full-Time, On-Site)
Employment Type: 12 month FTC

About Us:

My client lead the way in providing innovative IT solutions and maintaining robust infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled Windows Infrastructure Engineer to support our Windows systems and associated products in our on-premises estate.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide comprehensive support for Windows systems and associated products.
* Administer various versions of Windows Server.
* Perform physical racking and cabling activities at the datacentre for server devices.
* Support the running of a live service on-prem solution.
* Participate in technical refresh and upgrade projects.
* Ensure full-time, on-site availability near Winchester, with occasional trips to datacentres within a 1-hour drive.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Proficient in Windows 10, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
* Strong knowledge of Group Policy, DNS, and Citrix XenApp.
* Experience with Windows administration across multiple server versions.
* Ability to perform physical racking and cabling at the datacentre.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
