Wirer

Our client, a dedicated player in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Wirer to join their cable assembly and wiring production department on a temp to perm basis.

• Process cable assemblies, looms, and unit assemblies in accordance with work instructions or drawings provided
• Check completed work for compliance before passing to the next stage
• Ensure job history is accurately maintained and reported on all route cards you work on
• Proactively advise management of any issues that may affect delivery or quality
• Adhere to all Health and Safety, housekeeping, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

• Industry standard qualifications (J-STD IPC/WHMA-A-620) required
• Awareness and understanding of ESD Controls
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings and instructions
• Awareness and understanding of AS9100/ISO9001
• Experience in wiring and assembly

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in IT and capable of using PCs and tablets as required
• Motivated and with good time management skills
• Calm and collected with the ability to work under extreme pressure
