Wood Machinist

Location: Cramlington Permanent, Full-time

Job Summary: We are looking for a person with experience in operating woodworking machines, including CNC, to join a small, highly motivated team producing bespoke contract furniture. This is a flexible role to support the production team in meeting the company's deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating woodworking machines
  • Planning workloads to meet deadlines
  • Preparing elements for the production team
  • Preparing machines for work
  • Carrying out routine servicing of machinery
  • Monitoring and reporting stock levels to the manager

Skills:

  • Operating standard woodworking machinery
  • Operating CNC router
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Good work organisation
  • Ability to read and understand production drawings and plans
  • Attention to detail
  • Forklift licence welcome
