Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer's Assistant!

Salary: £26,026
Location: Rochester

We're a reputable and growing maintenance and installation business, specialising in working at height safety and BMU maintenance. We're on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join us as a Working at Height Safety Technician. If you're passionate about safety and enjoy hands-on work, this could be the perfect role for you!

What You'll Do:
  • Team up with a lead engineer to install, maintain, and repair various permanent access equipment and fall protection systems.
  • Handle WAH systems, including fall restraint and fall arrest safety wire systems, fixed access ladders, handrail systems, gantries, and walkways.
  • Work with BMU engineers to maintain, repair, and test Building Maintenance Units (BMUs) at client sites.
  • Travel around the Southeast, focusing on London and the M25 area.
  • Meet your lead engineer at designated points and travel to job sites in a company vehicle.

  • A full clean driving licence.
  • Team spirit and the ability to perform well under pressure.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience in the Work at Height industry.
  • Previous roles involving LOLER inspections, BMUs, eyebolts, safety wire systems, and guardrails.
  • Mechanical or electrical engineering experience.
