Working Foreman

Your new company
You will be joining a principal contractor working on a high-value and long-term water scheme in the Leicestershire area. This multi-accredited company has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Working Foreman to be based at their site in Leicestershire.

Your new role
As Working Foreman, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Scheduling, coordinating and supervising the daily activities of site operatives
• Ensuring all works are carried out in line with method statements
• Organising and monitoring the work of subcontractors on site
• Carrying out and recording site inspections
• Delivering toolbox talks as well as conducting and amending risk assessments
• Coordinating material deliveries
• Communicating with the Project Manager and stakeholders
• Delivering works safely, on time and within budget.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in a similar role, ideally working on excavations/underground utilities schemes, and hold a CSCS card, SSSTS and First Aid. In addition, you will have proven people management skills (including management of subcontractors) as well as leadership qualities. Finally, you will have sound communication, organisational and planning skills.
