Works Manager

** WORKS MANAGER ** SOUTH YORKSHIRE ** PERMANENT ROLE **

Due to company expansion our client based in South Yorkshire are now looking for a Works Manager to join their business

Based in the Manufacturing department the role of the Works Manager is oversee fabrication processes and supervise upwards of 35 employees over a 3 shift system (Hours of work to start will be 0800 - 1600 and then prioritised on business/staff needs)

Duties will include (but not exhaustive of) assigning duties, ordering materials and consumables, minimizing waste, providing leadership, inspecting carried out work, ensuring a safe workplace, and recruiting staff.

Our client are looking for a hands on leader who is confident, pro active and has vast experience of fabricating themselves so someone that can read drawings and have an engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, welding background is essential as is a hands on, get on the tools if required attitude
