WORKSHOP Manual CNC MACHINIST ASSEMBLER

The successful candidate will have worked in an engineering environment, with preference to marine with hands-on experience in manual machining/lathes and fitting.

Workshop Machinist: Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Experience with manual CNC machining and lathe work.
  • Mechanical Fitting
  • Assembling of components according to internal processes (will be taught within the role)
  • Balancing of rotors
  • Resourceful mechanical engineering skills
  • Traceability and process improvement management

The following skills are required.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills & Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to read technical engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure to deliver to deadlines.
  • Self-inspection on machined parts
  • CNC Manual Machining
  • Lathe Work
  • Mechanical Fitting
