The Role

Alfa Staff are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Manager to oversee our clients workshop operations.

The Workshop Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards.

This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

The Hours

8am to 5pm or 9am to 6pm - Occasional Weekends.

Responsibilities

The following are some of the responsibilities:

- Maintain and control the structure and workflow within the workshop.

- Manage pricing of parts and raise the corresponding PO’s.

- Maintain the service schedule for a fleet of 400 vehicles.

- Ensuring ISO regulation standards are met.

- Ensuring workshop equipment remains calibrated and tested.

- Managing a team of technicians to maximise efficiency.

- Responsible for approving all workshop fitters’ holidays and hours.

- Liaise with operations regarding vehicle defects and rectification.

- Liaise with existing managers to ensure the smooth flow of work through the workshop.

Requirements

- Commercial workshop experience

- IT literate

- Understanding of the transport industry

- Management experience and the ability to lead a team.
