Full time Monday to Friday 38.5 hours per week

Our client, SMTGB, are offering an experienced Workshop or Field based Engineer the opportunity to join their well-established and professional team of engineers. You’ll be identifying mechanical and computerised systems problems and carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair on Volvo heavy mobile plant within the workshop at their Warrington depot.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Service and repair Volvo construction equipment
  • Ensuring software updates are installed
  • The accurate completion of paperwork
  • Assisting and coaching colleagues with technical support where necessary
  • Ordering and returning parts

Experience

  • Minimum of an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or Land Based Engineering
  • Mechanical experience working on heavy plant machinery
  • Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electronics
