Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing sector, is currently seeking a Workshop Fitter to join their Branch in Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance and repairs industrial pumps as directed by the Manager.
  • Adhere to manufacturers' procedures and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor and colleagues regarding job requirements, costs, and downtime.
  • Inspect equipment for damages and notify the Branch Manager with detailed reports.
  • Suggest modifications and improvements to machinery or processes.
  • Ensure all administration and paperwork are accurately completed and submitted on time.
Job Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with diesel engines and industrial pumps is advantageous.
  • Strong diagnostic skills to locate and fix faults efficiently.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and standard hand and power tools.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to grow with the role and undertake further training.
