Job Title: Workshop Manager

Location: Leicester

Salary: Between £45,000 - £46,000

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

Our client is currently looking for a Workshop Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a track record of delivering as well as managing projects of high quality, as well as on time and on budget in a joinery. There is a discretionary bonus depending on performance.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • To take responsibility and control of project production from the Project Manager.
  • To monitor, assess and assist the Workshop Foreman in their duties.
  • To advise and to liaise with Project Managers on progress of projects.
  • To allocate site installation teams.
  • To manage the safe operation of the workshop as well as the equipment.
  • To assist the brief of installation with the PM to the team.
  • To minimise wastage and recycling of materials through reclamation.
  • To keep track of stock, as well as equipment and ensuring their security.

The Candidate

  • Three years or more experience in a workshop management role.
  • Project Management skills as well as organisational skills.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
