Workshop Mechanic
Attleborough, Norfolk

Full Time, Permanent
Salary: up to £42.000
  
Are you a mechanically minded individual with an interest for vehicle maintenance? Join our client, a family-owned company, as a Workshop Technician to maintain their vehicle fleet. Even if you haven't worked specifically on HGVs, your experience in mechanical work could be the perfect fit. Become an essential member of a team, supporting and maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles from a well-equipped workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilise your mechanical skills for inspections, maintenance, and repairs of a range of vehicles, following industry standards.
  • Apply your technical expertise to maintain various equipment, including forklift trucks and LGVs.
  • Engage in road tests to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
  • Be available for occasional on-call support during roadside breakdowns.
  • Take on mentorship and development opportunities within the workshop.
Requirements:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience working on vehicles or machinery.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.
