ROLE – Workshop Technician 
LOCATION - Leicester
TERM - Permanent
SALARY- £25,000-£28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client is a specialist design development and manufacturing company, with their work going into the POS Display sector. They are looking to take on a Workshop Technician to join their team in Leicester. 

The Workshop Technician will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Workshop Expertise - Experience with plastics
  • Experience with CNC Machining and hand tools
  • Vacuum Forming and Laser Cutting Experience is preferable 
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Team player
  • Have a keen interest in training and developing their career in Engineering/Manufacture
The Workshop Technician roles will involve:

  • Hands-on manufacture and assembly of a variety of products
  • Working with plastics
  • Working to procedures and instructions
  • Communicating with different departments to resolve technical issues
