Multiskilled Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer based in Rushden to join to one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client are well-established with over 20 years’ experience in the cutting machinery industry.

Responsibilities of theMultiskilled Engineer

• Fault finding and reactive maintenance.
• Assist in building cutting machines.
• Reading Electrical drawings.
• 70% Electrical 30% Mechanical.
• Repair and rebuild older cutting machines. 
• Work on and repair new machines.
• Assembly/Fitting.

Requirements for a successfulMultiskilled Engineer

• Minimum 2 years of Maintenance Engineering experience.
• Electrical bias with a strong understanding of electrical circuitry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
• Bench fitting, machining and fabrication experience.
• Conversant with hydraulic and mechanical equipment. 
• Good communication skills.

Summary of the Multiskilled Engineerrole

Salary: £35,000 per annum plus overtime
Location: Rushden
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 11:00am
