The Tilehurst based Primary School is looking for a friendly, personable and professional KS2 Primary Teacher to join their busy team in Year 3.

**Must have a PGCE with QTS Status**

Responsibilities of a Y3 Primary Teacher :

  • Effectively produce and execute interactive and engaging lessons to Year 3 pupils constructed on the National KS2 curriculum.
  • Feedback, support the Year 3 students, allowing space for them to grow and develop.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and calm classroom environment.
  • Support your Tilehurst colleagues sharing best practices.
  • Be able to extra data to implement informed teaching decisions, being adaptable to meet all needs of each Year 3 student.
  • Develop strong communication, giving regular updates on Year 3 students to parents, caregivers - building essential relationships.
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings, not limited to professional development opportunities. An essential skill for a career ladder driven teacher, with TLR (Training Learning Responsibilities) as future opportunities.
