We are recruiting a Yard Operative for a leading Builders Merchants. Ideally someone with experience within the builders merchants sector in a Yard Assistant / Yard operative and/or yard or warehouse experience. FLT experience would be helpful however you would be fully trained in-house.

As a Yard Assistant / Yard Operative the role will involve an element of manual handling, as well as using equipment to load and unload deliveries, interacting with customers and make sure they are satisfied, ensuring the yard is kept presented to a high standard. There is always plenty to do and a variety of jobs so it is important the candidate can use initiative and is able to manage their time sufficiently.

This full time and permanent Yard operative role can provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in the builders merchants whilst supplying a competitive salary.
