Yard Operative

My client is looking for a Yard operative to join their hard working team player. The yard is busy so they are looking for someone to work under pressure to ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner. Great team with a friendly environment, so willing to get stuck in is a must

As a Yard Operative a valid forklift truck licence is essential for this role.

• Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and ensure
• Prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
• Ensure that stock is replenished, rotated and merchandised
• Maintain the yard to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness to make a great first impression on our customers
• Build rapport, be polite and courteous to customers
• Be vigilant to prevent loss of product by theft
• Aware of Health & Safety
