Yard Operative

UBT Recruitment are working with a leading provider of high-quality pump solutions based in Mildenhall, Suffolk. They are seeking a Yard Operative to support their warehouse team with various tasks. As a Yard Operative you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the yard. To be successful in this role you must be a proactive individual with a strong work ethic.

Working hours & Salary: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm or 7:30am to 4:30pm. £27,000 to £30,000 per annum.

Yard Operative Duties:

• Preparing orders for deliveries, and picking and packing stock items
• Loading and unloading vehicles by forklift
• Cleaning and general maintenance of equipment
• Checking in goods upon return and regular stock checks
• Inspection of equipment
• Liaising with office staff regarding shortage of equipment, repair on equipment, etc.
• Ensuring yard is always kept safe and tidy
• Abiding by company standards i.e., Health & Safety policy, Fire Safety and SOP's
• Ad-hoc operational tasks and general duties

Requirements

• Forklift licence (training can be provided)
• Experience of working outdoors
