Your new company
Hays Education is THE market leading agency in South Warwickshire and, because of that, I have a range of jobs that don't even make it online for everyone to see and therefore apply for. Over the past 12 months there has been an increased need for Key Stage 1 teachers to work 4 or 5 days per week. I am working with a selection of schools to build up a supply pool of people that could fill these gaps if they arise.
Your new role
Your new role as a Key Stage 1 Teacher will be to work either in one school or a range of schools depending on the vacancy cover. You will usually be required to take on full class responsibility including planning, preparation, marking and assessments, as well as parents' evenings and staff meetings. You will also be required to create a safe learning environment where children can explore the curriculum freely and for them to flourish. Knowledge of a range of phonics schemes would be desirable but not essential.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you must be a Key Stage 1 teacher that is either newly qualified or a more experienced teacher. You must be happy to take on the full job role, including the planning, and be available to work 4 or 5 days per week from September. You must consider yourself to have good communication skills as well as be able to build quick relationships with children, staff and parents/carers.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will:
-Have guaranteed work from September, 4 or 5 days per week
- be paid to scale from day 1 on MPS
- accrue holiday pay throughout your assignment
- be supported by one consultant
- have the option to pay in to a private pension
- £350 for every successful referral to Hays
