Are you based in or around Gloucestershire? Fancy becoming apart of this supportive Primary School? They have an exciting opportunity for a Year 1 Teacher to join them from September 2024. This Year 1 Teacher position would be suitable for an ECT, the Gloucestershire Primary School have an exceptional focus on staff development and can offer support and guidance throughout the first couple of years of your teaching career. If you are further along in your teaching journey, they'd still love to hear from you!

Salary - £30,000 starting, based on experience.

Ofsted rated - Outstanding

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to student achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the KS1 Year 1 curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor Year 1 student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage the KS1 classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with KS1 colleagues to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
