Tradewind is currently looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher for our lovely client school in Bury.

Position: Year 1 Teacher

Contract: September 2024 - July 2024

Location: Bury

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £140 - £200 per day, subject to experience

This 'Good', one-form entry school is part of a multi-academy trust. It prides itself on building an inclusive and nurturing, education environment for all students to succeed in.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with SEND
  • Utilise schemes of work such as Read Write Inc phonics and Fred Inc to support planning and teaching with the National Curriculum
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing feedback.
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers to support student development.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience teaching Year 1 Students or Key Stage 1
  • Proven experience and expertise in supporting children withSEND
  • Confident in planning and delivering creative and scaffolded lessons
  • Passion for creating a positive and impactful learning experience
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for teaching!
