Aspire People, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher for a reputable primary school in Kenilworth.

This is a full-time position commencing in September and continuing throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with the national curriculum for Year 1 students.
Maintain a positive learning environment by managing classroom behavior effectively and ensuring the well-being and safety of all students.
Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback, and record and report results to parents and school leadership.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an additional language (EAL).
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, address concerns, and build a supportive home-school relationship.
Participate in continuous professional development opportunities provided by the school and Aspire People to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with educational trends.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to foster a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
Participate in and contribute to extra-curricular activities and school events as required.

Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous UK experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 1 students.
Strong classroom management skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
Enthusiastic, dedicated, and adaptable with a passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) and satisfactory references.
