Your new school
A primary school in Bilston is currently looking for a Year 1 teacher to join them in September 2024 on a long-term basis. This school has been rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted on 2 consecutive occasions and aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment for everyone.

Your new role
This is a full-time position and is a one-form entry with 30 pupils. As a year 1 teacher you will be responsible for...

• Promoting and inspiring learning and taking into account the needs and progress of all learners.
• Involve Teaching Assistants in planning to provide high quality individual support with targeted intervention.
• Use available data to plan, review and monitor progress of all learners in order to promote rigorous improvement of attainment and achievement.
• Establish a positive ethos in the school by promoting and demonstrating high standards.
• To participate in all school open evenings and other appropriately calendared events.

What you'll need to succeed

• Ambitious, dedicated and hard-working
• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• 2 years' worth of child-related references
• Experience working as a Primary School Teacher.
• Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
