Year 2 Primary Teacher - Maternity contract

YEAR 2 PRIMARY TEACHER REQUIRED

Academics are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to cover a maternity leave on a long-term supply basis at a primary school in Stoke-on-Trent. The position begins in September and will run until at least the Spring Term, with the possibility of extension.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons to 30 pupils in year 2
• Plan and prepare high-quality teaching materials in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, is preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate
