Job Title: Year 2 Teacher (Temporary, Full-Time)

Location: Central Doncaster

Salary: between 150 - 200 pounds per day (dependent on experience)

Duration: September 2024 - end December 2024 (may get extended into 2025).

Salary: Excellent rate of pay, commensurate with teaching experience

Randstad Education is supporting a primary school in central Doncaster to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing targeted interventions as needed.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall development and improvement of the school's curriculum.
• Establishing effective communication with parents and guardians to support students' academic and social development.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, with a focus on Year 2.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment procedures.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for fostering a love of learning.
