This is an exciting opportunity for a year 3 teacher to become a valued member in a friendly and encouraging primary school.

The role

As an experienced year 3 teacher or ECT, you will be expected to be patient and understanding. This role is a permanent position. As a key function of the role, you will be required to foster a learning environment and educational experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their individual potential. 

As a year 3 teacher, you will also be responsible for using a variety of teaching delivery methods appropriate to the individual learning styles, and the varying demands of the curriculum while keeping pupils engaged.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils’ success and therefore you must have the following:

  • Have proven success in your teaching career to date
  • Have Qualified Teacher Status
  • Be an ECT or experienced KS2 teacher
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Ensure pupil safety inside and outside of the classroom
  • Ideally have some experience in a reception role
