Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students in line with the national curriculum.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting targets for improvement.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student achievement and well-being.
Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development opportunities.
Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
Must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Proven experience teaching at the primary level, preferably within Year 3.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff.
A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (this is essential).
