Year 5 Teacher - High Peak

When: The position will commence ASAP on a Part-time basis in Year 5

How long: This position will run for a full academic year.

Pay: £150 - £210 per day, depending on experience.

Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities:

• Lead a high-performing Year 5 class, ensuring advancement and achievement.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with SEND and EAL (English as an Additional Language).
• Understand age-related expectations, scaffolding and extending to optimise individual educational outcomes.
• Maintain updated records, analyse data for reteaching, and sustain elevated attainment levels.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their achievements and areas for improvement.

Essential Requirements:

-QTS (Or an equivalent teaching qualification)

-Excellent references to support previous experience in KS1/KS2

-A CV that covers full employment history

-The right to work in the UK
