Year 5 Teacher job in Rugby £140 - £212 per day

Location: Rugby Year group: Year 5 Duration: Temp - perm Start Date: September 2nd

A primary school in Rugby is searching for an experienced KS2 teacher who can start with them in September. This is a full-time role from September until Christmas. However, as this is a vacancy, there's every hope it will become a permanent position - if you're just looking for a long-term temporary role for the Autumn term, that's that's fine too!
The school is located on the Coventry side of Rugby, so easily commutable.

There are 25 children in this particular Year 5 class, they have 1 pupil with high additional needs, this child has full-time support, and the class does require strong behaviour management with low-level behaviour. They have a number of pupils with SEMH - these children, in particular, need a teacher who can understand their needs to be able to work with them and not impose sanctions.

Interviews for this role will be taking place in the next couple of weeks.

What you'll need to succeed

• You must have a good knowledge of the primary school Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
• Recently taught in KS2 as a qualified teacher in the UK
• You should be able to adapt to different teaching methods and environments and be confident in doing so
• Have excellent behaviour management
• You must have experience teaching within the last 5 years in the teaching industry and hold a QTS, PGCE or ECT.
