Academics Rochester is recruiting a Year 6 teacher for an inclusive primary school in Swanley. They are dedicated to nurturing the minds of young learners. Their committed staff and active community create a stimulating and supportive environment that inspires students to achieve their best.

Position Overview:
We are recwuiting an enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to become a part of the KS2 team. The ideal candidate will hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent qualification. We are seeking an educator with a proven ability to foster student growth and deliver engaging learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess student progress and provide targeted support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience teaching Year 6 or a similar age group.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A passion for inspiring young learners.

Start Date: September 2024
