We are currently seeking a Young People’s Club Co-ordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, working 22.2 hours per week for a fixed term contract from June 2024 to April 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Role

As a Young People’s Club Co-ordinator, you will deliver our Change4Life service across Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster.

Delivering activities that promote national and local public health priorities to young people aged 11-19 (up to 25 for young disabled people and those with a special education need), you will encourage healthier eating, physical activity, oral health and emotional wellbeing.

You will plan, deliver and evaluate our free health promotion clubs, align with services that promote similar messages and promote a whole systems approach to reduce health inequalities. You will be responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the people our service supports.

About You

To be considered as a Young People’s Club Co-ordinator, you will need:

- Experience working with young people and/or an NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
- Experience responding to safeguarding risks
- An understanding of contemporary health topics relating to young people and families

Please note, this role will require you to work flexibly and outside core hours, including late evenings and occasional weekends.

Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service that we consider acceptable.
