Young Person’s Mentor
R13 Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a fantastic organisation that makes a massive impact on the lives of young people. They are currently looking for a Young Person’s Mentor to join their team in Bullbrook, Bracknell.
This is a full time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week (working on a 3 week rolling rota, which includes 1 weekend), based in Bracknell. The offered salary for this position is £23,500.

The day to day
- Working closely with a group of young people, assisting with daily living and providing trauma-informed support.
- Empowering young people to gain new skills and coping mechanisms.
- Ensuring records are maintained accurately and stored within GDPR guidelines.
- Working with external and service providers to ensure an efficient support system.
You will have/be
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care would be preferable.
- Previous experience working with children and young people, with an empathetic approach and ability to work with young people with challenging behaviour and complex emotional needs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to remain calm in a pressured situation.
- Good organisational skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office platforms.
