Young Persons Support Worker

We are recruiting for Support Workers in Leeds on a temporary short term contract for around 2 - 3 months. You will be working with Young People between the ages of 16 - 20 who require support, either within a residential setting, or out in the community.

You will be responsible for building professional supportive relationships with young people whilst also being responsible for all safeguarding duties.

Some of these children may have had challening childhoods and there is opportunity to make a positive impact at a key development stage.

The position is initially a temporary contract but there is a possibility for it to become a permanent job. You would need to able to work 35 hours a week either on a 9 - 5 basis, or on a shift pattern during evenings and weekends.
