A Local Authority based in the Oxfordshire area is seeking to appoint a Youth Justice Service Officer to join their Youth support team
This is an excellent opportunity for those that are looking to gain valuable statutory experience within a children's social work team and pursue a career within Social Work.
You will have great hybrid flexibility allowing you to spend less time/money travelling and allow for a better work/life balance
Responsibilities:
* As a Youth Justice & Exploitation Worker you will hold a case-load of children, designing and delivering interventions designed to support desistance from crime and help our children achieve their potential. You will support children on community disposals and in custody on remand and custodial sentences. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make a real difference to the lives of young people, families, and victims and join a dynamic and fast-paced service that is constantly striving to learn, improve and innovate.

As a Youth support officer within the team you will have get regular reflective supervisions and will be well supported by the Social Worker and the Team Manager.
To be considered for this post you should have experience of working with children and adolescents and be a car driver with access to a car.
