Youth Mental Health Support

The Opportunity:

  • A warm and welcoming school in Maidenhead and looking for a Youth Mental Health Support Worker
  • This school pride themselves in facilitating a friendly and safe environment for their students
  • The students at this school suffer from mental health difficulties that stem from anxiety and depression and have trouble regulating and processing their emotions

What is involved:

  • As a Youth Mental Health Support worker you would be primarily involved in supporting these children with their emotional needs.
  • You will be working with these students on a 1:1 basis or in a small group setting
  • Supporting the class teacher with general classroom duties
  • Helping to manage behaviour in the classroom
  • Facilitating a fun and engaging learning environment

What is required:

  • The successful Mental Health Support Worker will be an advocate for positive mental health
  • As an individual you will be caring and compassionate
  • You will be ready to take on a new challenge and make a difference
  • Resilient and confident, able to adapt to changing situations easily as the students have varying needs and educational plans
  • Experience within mental health is desirable but not essential
  • Graduates welcome to apply!
