Contract Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm

Are you an experienced Humanities teacher ready to take the next step in your career? Our dynamic secondary academy in West Swindon is looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team starting this September. This full-time role, offered on a temp to perm contract, provides an excellent opportunity for career progression with an opening for Head of Department.

About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic Humanities teacher who is eager to embrace new challenges and make a positive impact on our students' educational journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking academy that values innovation and excellence in teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective Humanities lessons
  • Managing classroom behaviour to ensure a conducive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the Humanities curriculum
  • Potentially stepping into the role of Head of Department

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Humanities teacher
  • Excellent behaviour management skills
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • Enthusiasm and a passion for education
