What is Make Some Noise?
Make Some Noise is the official charity of Global, a leading media company that owns popular radio stations like Heart, Capital, LBC, Classic FM and more…
The Make Some Noise campaign focuses on giving to small UK charities, helping to improve the lives of the people who need it the most, like Ernie (pictured above). He’s receiving support from a charity called, George’s Rockstar, which provides music therapy for children in hospitals.

We’re working with the Big Give to double donations throughout the campaign
Our founder, Sir Alec Reed, created Big Give in 2007. Big Give is a match funding platform for charities, funders, and the public that aims to multiply generosity to make a lasting impact on the world.
This year, we’re working with Big Give to double donations throughout the Make Some Noise campaign! One donation will go twice as far to help improve the lives of people like Ernie across the UK.
Smaller charities are facing big issues, at a time when they’re needed more than ever. With the cost of living crisis impacting our communities, and grassroots projects playing a vital part in people’s everyday lives – it’s time to give small charities a voice and #MakeSomeNoise.
How is Reed.co.uk supporting the Make Some Noise campaign?
Charity and giving back to the communities we serve is a key part of our purpose. That’s why we’re donating £175,000 in matched funds in support of the Make Some Noise campaign and all funds raised will go to support small UK charities helping to improve the lives of people across the UK.
As supporters of the campaign, you’ll hear and see our brand mentioned hundreds of times! The Make Some Noise campaign is running alongside our ongoing brand campaign that’s showing the UK what it really feels like to Love Mondays and to love your job.
Over the coming weeks, Reed.co.uk will get lots of coverage across Global’s various radio stations such as Capital, Heart, Kiss, and more. You’ll also see us on a number of out-of-home ads and social shout-outs, all encouraging people to donate to the brilliant cause.
