Find out what Sharon Livermore, Director of Kameo Recruitment, has to say about her experience with reed.co.uk:
Why reed.co.uk?
I have used reed.co.uk for almost 10 years, for various recruitment needs. The website has always been so easy to use and navigate. At Kameo Recruitment, even though we recruit across several different sectors, we have always found all the candidates we are looking for.
We did try some other job boards but the response – and result – we got was nothing compared to the return we get from reed.co.uk.
The best part is when new consultants start at Kameo Recruitment; it is very easy to train them on the platform and get them to start working very quickly.
How would you describe the service you receive from reed.co.uk?
We find that we have a strategic relationship with reed.co.uk rather than a transactional one. The service we have received over the years has always been excellent. Our Account Manager contacts us as and when necessary and always provides the best insights for us.
How did you find recruiting through the pandemic?
Like many others, it wasn’t easy to be a recruitment business in 2020. However, we survived and are starting to feel the uptick in the jobs market again. Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, we received great support from our reed.co.uk Account Manager who regularly checked in to see if they could help with anything.
Sharon set up Kameo Recruitment in May 2018, with the vision of offering a personal service that is tailored to each individual candidate and client. Sharon’s recruitment experience has seen her work with clients of all sizes, recruit for many sectors and cover positions from entry to senior level.
Sharon is also a domestic abuse campaigner and ambassador for both the DA Alliance and EIDA (Employers Initiative on Domestic Abuse). The work Kameo does around domestic abuse is embedded within the core of the business and it has made it its mission to educate as many businesses as possible throughout the U.K. on what domestic abuse is, the myths around it and the various challenges victims may face. Further charitable work includes volunteering for Form the Future, a not for profit that connects young people to the world of career opportunities.
