About our client

Our client is a global, tech focussed VC fund with an impressive portfolio. The fund is highly capitalised with a strong track record and a brilliant reputation in the market.

They are looking to hire an Analyst for their pre-seed strategy to work alongside an impressive Partner in London.

Given their investment focus it is important that you have a deep understanding and demonstrable interest in the tech space. They are looking to hire someone who brings a technical degree in a STEM subject or scientific related field. What the job involves

  • Contribute to the pre-seed team's deal flow pipeline by identifying companies / founders of interest and aligned with the fund's portfolios and investment theses
  • Build relationships with company founders and management teams outside of our existing networks to uncover potential new investments
  • Support investment team in conducting due diligence on new investments based on qualitative and quantitative factors
  • Support existing portfolio companies on operational and transactional matters alongside senior investment team members
  • Take part in team or firm-wide improvement projects
  • Represent the fund at industry events, conferences and networking activities
Who we are looking for

  • Technical background with a degree in STEM or a related scientific field
  • Highly commercial with experience in either banking or consulting
  • Demonstrable interest in technology
  • Strong research and data analytics skills
  • A natural networker with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • A passion for early-stage businesses with exciting growth plans
