Our client is a highly reputable managed services organisation who operate UK wide. Together, we are recruiting for a highly skilled IT Field Engineer on a permanent basis to operate on client sites across Northern Ireland with their head office being based in Belfast.

General duties for this role include:

  • To replace desktops, laptops and mobile devices as like for like and enabling a quick resolution with minimum inconvenience to the end user
  • Perform Break fix on all desktop and mobile IT equipment
  • Undertake office setup, also including emergency response to serious events such as fire, flood, infestation, structural failure, or asbestos contamination.
  • Installation and support of software products not managed by second line support or SCCM.
  • Provide support for Hardware refresh and projects

To qualify:

  • Extensive hardware knowledge, Laptop Keyboards, Memory, Hard drives
  • Experience with Network builds
  • Experience with VPN and remote work on machines
  • UK drivers' license + own car (fuel allowance is, of course provided
